Hi just read your recipe and it sounds great.
I’m wondering when making tacos do you add about 3/4 cups a cup of water after you’ve
seasoned the meat- as you would do with a packaged mix?
Or – will water dilute flavor? Thanks

Teri, Yes, you can add water and let it cook until the liquid evaporates the same way you would the packaged mix.

This recipe looks awesome, I normally just use salsa to spice up my tacos instead of seasoning. This would be a welcome addition and great for enchiladas and burritos too. LOVE!

Carole, I usually blend some salsa in our taco meat too, but the taco seasoning gives it some extra, deeper flavor. I hope you give it a try.

Tiffany, It depends on how spicy your ingredients are to start with. This blend is a rather mild spice. Try it and adjust to your liking.

Yum. Always amazed why people buy prepackaged or even bottled seasoning when the spice section in the bulk aisle sells the ingredients for pennies and it takes like 3 minutes to make it!

Agreed – fresher, less expensive and you can adjust it to your own tastes (and spice level, esp. for kids).
