Homemade Taco Seasoning
Replace store bought envelopes with this homemade taco seasoning mix and eliminate the mystery ingredients, anti-caking agents, and preservatives.

Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons chili powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small jar with tight fitting lid. Shake to blend. Seal, label, and store in a in a cool, dark place, away from heat and direct sun. Makes about 1/2 cup. Use about 2 1/2 Tablespoons of mix to replace a package of purchased taco seasoning mix.
